Everything in the hotel is fine. The room is fine, bathroom.. all good. Just all the people the work there are rude. In general. They never smile to you, not helpful with anything. They are literally just therein the reception doing absolutely nothing. I stayed for 6 nights, and all of them even the same.

I stayed in a 8 pods room and it was clean and comfy. My pods had enough space for me and I had a locker underneath. I didn't stay long enough to say if this hostel was social or not. The staff for my check-in and check-out were nice and helpful. I was scared for the late check-in as I missed the emails sent about pre-check-in but the process was super easy and helped by the staff. The reception is 24/7, which help a lot

I stayed here with my sister on Saturday night and I would not reccomend this hostel to anyone. The first issue when we arrived was dirty clothes and underwear in my sisters locker. When we told this to the front desk, instead of removing the items, they left a note on the locker asking the person to come to the front desk; which they never did, as they had probably checked out already. This meant my sister had to sleep with her luggage in her bed beside her. The second issue was the showers, they were absolutely disguisting. The toilets were filthy and there was dirty water overflowing from every shower as there was a massive pile of hair blocking the drain. It looked like these bathrooms hadnt been cleaned in weeks. There was hair everywhere, toothpaste in the sink and the hand dryer didn't even work. Thirdly, the main selling point of this hostel was the bar. When we booked, we were told we would meet upstairs and have drinks with other people before joining a bar crawl we payed extra for. Our booking also included a complimentary drink so once we arrived, we asked the person at the front desk what we needed to do for this and they said to head to the bar upstairs and the person up there would sort this out for us. Imagine our disappointment when there was no one upstairs and there was a big sign saying the bar was closed for the night. When we went back downstairs, there was a different person at the front desk who said the bartender had callen in sick so the bar wouldn't be opening and we wouldn't be getting our complimentary drinks. They offered no compensation, even though the bar was the whole reason we booked this hostel, so we'd have somewhere to drink before the bar crawl that they run. I understand staff can't help being sick but they should have other people who can cover as this was really the cherry on top of all the issues we had during our stay. The next issue arose when we got back to the hostel, ready for bed. The pod had not been cleaned, the walls were dirty and the base of the mattress was disgusting. There was dirt, food and even a fingernail at the base of my bed. There was also a long black hair on my mattress. My sisters pod was also dirty and overall disgusting. The final issue was when we went to get ready in the morning. When we booked we were told the checkout time was 12pm; (which is listed all over their website too) however, I got an email that morning about needing to checkout at 10am. My sister left the room to get ready around 11am and when she tried to re-enter the room, her keycard had been disabled. Luckily I was in the room and could let her in as all of our stuff was still inside. We then tried my keycard which had also been disabled, even though checkout wasn't until 12pm. Overall the whole experience here was poor. It has so much potential but to be honest, it is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in and I would advise against ever staying here.

Absolutely god awful stay. First bed they put me in was dirty and had someone else's sweet wrappers in plus black spot under the mirror. People rolling joints in the rooms. No sense of community as with other hostels. One tiny kitchen meant to service the entire hostel so extremely busy constantly. Communal places suffocating and crowded. Construction works going on so very loud. No manager on shift the entire duration of my stay so no way to ask for a refund or cancellation. Gave me an extra key card for my room when I said I'd locked myself out without checking any of my details, anyone could easily gain access to any of the rooms. Friend experienced a violent drunk thst the hostel refused to move to another room. Absolutely abysmal service, couldn't recommend it less. Spend the extra few bucks to stay at somewhere lovely like Black Sheep Backpackers.

No issues from this upper class type of back packers. Perfect location; great price; awesome crew. Will be seeking to stay again when I return later this year!!😉
